We are looking for a native English language writer to push our global communications forward. Working as part of the Product team and closely with our translators, marketing team and HR as well as all other ESL departments, you will report directly to content management.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • Working collectively to develop global communication angles
  • Writing, proofreading and editing website content in English for a variety of products related to languages and travel
  • Writing, proofreading, correcting and editing website and print content in English for a variety of products related to languages and travel
  • Writing and publishing articles for owned and third-party blogs and print publications
  • Brainstorming and writing creative content ideas in various media (including visual and audio)
  • Ensuring a consistent and appropriate tone of voice across all channels

We are currently looking for a CRM Manager based in Barcelona.
 
Job overview
Your mission will be to ensure that ESL’s CRM system provides timely, accurate information to manage the company’s Sales, Admissions and CRM-related Marketing activities.
 
The CRM Manager will work closely with the Sales, Marketing, IAC and IT departments, to provide strategic recommendations and insight in order to continuously improve and refine the performance of our CRM system. As CRM manager you will be a key team member or leader of company-wide projects such as CRM, Client Area and Leads. You will provide strategic and operational input to these projects.
 
Main tasks:

 
  • Ensure that the CRM meets the company’s strategic objectives for Sales, Marketing and IAC workflow and reporting
  • Improve processes around the usage of the CRM, by continuously evaluating, monitoring, coaching, performing spot checks and developing best practices
  • Manage and coordinate, from the user perspective, all development and enhancement projects related to the Argo CRM and related tools and provide regular support to CRM users
  • Provide strategic input to the Head of Sales, Marketing and IAC regarding training, resource requirements and best practices regarding CRM tools

  • Travel regularly to the Montreux and Barcelona Headquarters and other key locations such as sales offices, to perform training, coaching and quality checks 

Your professional skills:
 
  • You have a university-level bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Management Science, or professional equivalent
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
  • You are extremely proficient in the use of computers and standard office software, with extensive experience using a modern CRM system
  • You have expert-level knowledge of Excel, Business Intelligence tools and/ or CRM report writing tools
  • You have direct experience in sales and sales management in the education or travel sectors
  • You master written and spoken English, as well as at least one other major European language, including the language spoken at the job location (French or Spanish)

In direct contact with the Head of HR in Montreux (Switzerland), your main mission will be to execute the global ESL HR strategy and be the contact HR person in Barcelona Head Office.
 
Main tasks:
 
  • You will actively participate in the development of our international recruitment strategy and lead processes for our Barcelona Head Office.

For our Online Marketing department, we are currently looking for a Regional Online Marketer – Spanish native speaker, someone who can relate to our brand and promote it through online channels by sharing interesting content online – we call this Outreach. Realicé un curso de 12 semanas el verano pasado en Bray, era mi primera experiencia en el extranjero y he de reconocer que los nervios ante la novedad me acompañaron hasta el momento en que puse un pie en el pueblo costero de Bray, a unos 40 minutos de Dublín. A partir de entonces todo fue de maravilla, bueno siempre hay unas semanas de adaptación al medio y acostumbrarse al nuevo lugar, pero después todo fue coser y cantar. La Escuela ATC, a unos metros de la residencia en la que me alojé, es la más conocida de esa zona y el programa de estudios que tienen he de reconocer que es muy bueno, se trabajan todas las habilidades: lectura, comprensión oral así como la escrita y por supuesto la gramática. Me llamó la atención el hecho de que nos evaluaran cada semana, creo que es una forma de saber si vas evolucionando así como en mi caso fue el poder en 6 semanas subir de nivel, un gran reto para mí, que he hizo darme cuenta de que estaba aprendiendo inglés.

La residencia fue incluso mejor de lo que me esperaba, buen ambiente, tienes tu privacidad y cerca de los mejores lugares y más conocidos de Bray. Fue todo tan bien y conocí gente tan maravillosa que en unos meses volveré y espero que esta estancia sea tan excelente como la anterior.

Dublín es una ciudad que tiene encanto, hay muchos jóvenes estudiantes, es muy alegre y tiene aire de fiesta. Me gusta que no sea una ciudad ni muy grande ni muy chica y la considero muy segura. El transporte público llega a cualquier lado y es de fácil acceso.

Estoy muy contenta con mi progreso, ya que cuando comencé estaba en nivel intermedio y hoy voy a clases de nivel preavanzado. Las clases son muy activas, los profesores intercalan actividades de gramática clásica con juegos en los cuales sin darnos cuenta aprendemos muchísimo. Se nota que disfrutan mucho de su profesión porque las clases son muy divertidas al mismo tiempo que aprendemos y practicamos.”

Me hice muchos amigos de otros países con los que sigo en contacto por medio de las redes sociales. Con respecto a los profesores, me gusta mucho como dan las clases, no te dan tiempo a aburrirte. Se nota que el plan de clases está muy bien montado para que los alumnos aprendan inglés. El "social programme" está muy bien armado, es muy divertido y conoces mucha gente nueva. Las residencias también están muy bien, ya que también puedes conocer gente o compartir tiempo con los compañeros que viven en el mismo edificio.

Al principio me hospedé con familia y luego decidí cambiarme a una de las residencias de la Escuela IH. Camino 15 minutos para llegar a la Escuela, es un recorrido fácil. Lo que me gusta de Archway Apartments es que queda cerca del centro donde encuentras tanto lugares para comer como "pubs" y otros locales y tiendas.

Todas las personas con las que me he cruzado, el personal de la escuela, han sido super buenas conmigo, siempre muy amables y predispuestas a ayudarme o guiarme en todo.

Quería comentaros que mi estancia en Galway está siendo muy enriquecedora. Tanto a nivel académico como personal.

Sobre la "Host Family" decir que me ha tocado una familia muy simpática y amable y en la escuela tanto los profesores como el alumnado está siendo de gran ayuda.

También deciros. que la casa la tengo bastante cerca de la escuela, y suelo ir andando todos los días.

Una verdadera pena que no puedo prolongar mi estancia... otra vez será.
